The LAVIDGE Public Relations Team Takes Home the Copper

PHOENIX (Oct. 10, 2024) – The Copper Anvils, presented by the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Phoenix Chapter, highlights excellence in public relations across Arizona. This year, the LAVIDGE PR team submitted five entries for consideration, and all received distinguished honors.

Four LAVIDGE PR campaigns were awarded the highest honor, a Copper Anvil, and one received the Award of Merit recognition. The winning entries included:

  • Two Copper Anvils in Multicultural Communications
    1. Sonora Quest Laboratories Minority Health Month Awareness Campaign
    2. Arizona State University’s (ASU) Educational Outreach and Student Services for Launching the Access ASU Psyche Mission Spirit Week into Orbit
  • Copper Anvil in External Communications
    1. Bryten Real Estate Partners National Media Relations Campaign for Multifamily Merger
  • Copper Anvil in Most Effective Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Campaign
    1. Attorney Benjamin Taylor Increases Diversity in the Arizona State Bar Campaign
  • Award of Merit in Community Relations
    1. Scouting America Grand Canyon Council Scouts of the Year

A Copper Anvil is the highest honors in the public relations industry. Each submission is analyzed by two judges and ranked based on campaign success, budget, research methods, plan and tactics.

The LAVIDGE PR team received their awards in person on October 10 at the 2024 Copper Anvil ceremony hosted at The Showroom in Tempe.
