April 28, 2020

PHOENIX (April 28, 2020) - LAVIDGE IMPACT will give back in May by fulfilling the wishlist of Interfaith Cooperative Ministries (ICM) to help them meet the basic needs of the disadvantaged.

LAVIDGE IMPACT is giving back in May 2020 to Interfaith Cooperative Ministries. The ICM employs four full-time employees, but relies on more than 100 volunteers to help each week. They also receive items from congregations and the community that are then put in the right hands.

For example:

  • ICM is the largest distributor of St. Mary’s Food Bank Emergency Food Boxes in Maricopa County
  • More than 1,000 families receive food boxes from ICM each month
  • The agency passes along almost 9 tons of donated clothes each month to those in need
  • The agency serves more than 7,000 people a month

LAVIDGIANs who have been working from home since mid March are encouraged to fulfill the agency's wishlist with items from non-perishable, high-protein food to wipes and other items for babies, toiletries such as soap and shampoo, and shoes and clothing of all sizes. Prescription bottles with screw-on caps, bottled water and sandwich bags will also be accepted.

Community members who would like to contribute to the LAVIDGE IMPACT drive are encouraged to drop off or ship items in care of LAVIDGE IMPACT Committee Chair Sandra Torre to LAVIDGE, 2777 E.
